General Plan of Action

1. COMMITTEE STRUCTURE AND MEMBER INVOLVEMENT

  • More opportunities to lead for both members and vice-chairpersons
  • Marketing, Logistics, and External Relations Boot Camps
  • Representatives from other committees to help out with fundraisers

2. FINANCIAL DOCUMENTS

  • A more transparent Ecosoc through regular releases of financial statements and detailed reports on where the Ecosoc funds had been distributed among the different projects, events, and services
  • Submission of necessary documents (receipts, remittance forms, etc.) first before reimbursements and collections to effectively monitor cash inflow and outflow
  • Issuance of acknowledgement receipts
  • Updates regarding special requests from scholars

3. AR COLLECTION AND RE-AFFIRMATION FEE

  • Different payment schemes and stricter implementation of rules on AR collection
  • Incentives for those who will re-aff (tie-up with the membership committee)

4. MARKETING

  • Possible “bulking” of selected events to prevent sending of multiple similar proposals
  • Renaming of proposal titles so as not to confuse companies and other partners

5. FUNDRAISERS

  • Brand Sale/ Brand Overruns Sale
  • Baby Sproj: small fundraisers and possible organization tie-ups
  • February Lantern Day: night fair with lanterns and balloons
  • Foodgasm 2013
